Greece is a country filled with rich history, beautiful weather, breathtaking views, stunning beaches and so much more. My trip to Greece included all of these things. I explored the Peloponnese region which is the southern most part of the mainland of Greece. This is the most popular mainland region out of the 13 main regions in Greece. It combines world class archeological sites, amazing and rugged mountains with very nice views all in one big accessible region. It is also popular for not being as crowded as the very popular islands. The image on the right showcases a beautiful sunset at kastraki bar in Kalamata. Kalamata is a city next to the port, many beaches and a big mountain called Mount Taygetos. It also has lively night life. Some other locations I went to is Nafplion. This smaller city was the first capital of Greece when the country was created in 1830. It is recognisable for its castle that sits on the water and its castle fortress that overlooks the city. This is the third largest populated city in Greece and is located in the top left corner of the Peloponese region. I went to the Rio–Antirrio Bridge which connects the Peloponnese region to the rest of Greece. I saw some nice views from there and also a sunset view with the bridge in the view. I also went to Agio Andreas which is a famous Greek Orthodox church in Patra. Lastly, I went to Hydra island for the day. This island has no car travel and people move around the island by walking.

Greece's coastline stretches over 13,000 kilometres, dotted with some of the most stunning beaches in the world. Some of the beaches I went to include Tolo beach, Plaka beach, Mavrovouni beach and Kalamata beach.
One of Greece's most beloved unofficial attractions are the cats. Everywhere you go in Greece besides on the beach you will find a cat especially when you are eating at outisde sit down restaurents. They really like fish.
